  • Preference to Hamilton and Webster County high school and post high school students
  • Must attend either a private or public college including community colleges and trade schools full-time (enrollment verification required)
  • Scholarships are given directly to community college, college, university, or trade school and may be renewable
  • Scholarship applications accepted January 15 to June 1
  • Award announcements available yearly the first of August
  • While in college students must maintain 2.0 GPA (transcript required)

The Foundation’s Investments are managed professionally and prudently invested to grow over time. Professional fund managers strive to achieve the highest total return possible commensurate with appropriate risk and prudent investment strategies. In accordance with this principle, the Fort Dodge Community Foundation, upon request, will provide the names of investment managers, all fees charged and information on the committee that provides investment and financial oversight to the public at the Foundation’s office at 24 N 9th Street, Suite B, Fort Dodge, Iowa, 50501, during regular business hours.
