1st Five- Healthy Mental Development in the 1st Five Years... is a free and voluntary short-term program that helps coordinate referrals, interventions, and follow-up services for families. The 1st Five program supports health care providers in administering accredited developmental screening to support early detection of developmental delays and family risk factors in children from birth to their fifth birthday.
A knowledgeable 1st Five Developmental Support Specialist Family Worker provides holistic family support, helping families meet their needs and overcome barriers to accessing resources.

Provides in home, family support services to families with children prenatal through age 5 residing in Webster County. Services are evidenced based through the Parents As Teachers curriculum which provides information regarding pregnancy, new babies, toddler growth and development, family well being, parent-child activities, and resource for basic needs or developmental related concerns. The MIECHV Program is free and voluntary for families.
